It is a major and the oldest gas production company in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) dating back to 1967. The Company boasts unique experience of efficient operation in extreme climate conditions. Throughout its history, YATEC has provided over 59 bcm of natural gas to consumers in Yakutia.

It is the only gas supplier in the central part of Yakutia and in the city of Yakutsk

Listed as a backbone enterprise in the fuel and energy sector of the Russian Federation

Annual gas production is 1.9 bcm

The only diesel fuel producer in Yakutia

Revenue reached 7.7 bn RUB in 2021

Excellent financial stability of the Company is supported by its credit rating of A (RU) from ACRA

Implements Yakutsky LNG Project including construction of a main gas pipeline to the shore of the Sea of Okhotsk and LNG plant.

History of YATEC

Beside natural gas, the product portfolio includes:

stable gas condensate (SGC),
propane-butane motor fuel, and
technical propane-butane.

Its products are traded wholesale in 16 regions of the Russian Federation.

RESOURCES

YATEC holds licenses for 8 subsoil areas in Yakutia, and 2 subsoil areas in the Republic of Kalmykia.

Commercial development is run at Srednevilyuiskoe and Mastakhskoe Fields. Tolonsky license area is witnessing exploration work completion, production launch is scheduled before 2025. Tymtaidakh Field, Maisky, Severny, Yuzhny areas and the areas in the Republic of Kalmykia are undergoing appraisal.

With the current production volume, YATEC holds natural gas reserves worth of over 150 years and gas condensate reserves worth of 100 years.

Further resource expansion is one of strategical priorities, and YATEC participates in bidding of Subsoil Resources Department in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutnedra) and Federal Subsoil Resources Management Agency (Rosnedra) for new license areas.
